Kim helped me move two cars from California to Texas. The first car I had transported, the seller wasnot being very helpful and Kim spent a lot of time on the phone and worked it all out. Both cars arrived in good condition and no surprises. When I needed a carrier the second time I called Kim at Domestic Auto Read more ....

Naomi Denham at domestic auto transport inc was one of the worst people I have ever dealt with, nothing in writing, never remembered our conversations and then blamed everything on me. Wasted a week of my time with nothing accomplished. Beware and do not use them. Read more ....

Too bad I have to give this company any star because they are awful and deceitful. They will sweet talk you initially to get your business. We were quoted 455 for our transport. After speaking on the phone with them and specifically asking if there is any possible way that it would cost more than what was quoted we were Read more ....

I chose Kim because of previous reviews but had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH HER and the transporter company XXX. She said there would be no problem finding a driver for me but unfortunately this was not the truth: I had to keep calling her to get updates. Finally two days before my expected pick up date she called me Read more ....

After sorting through many bids, I chose to go with Darlene at Domestic Auto Transport. I was then emailed an order confirmation, terms and conditions agreement that I confirmed and agreed to. My rep Darlene, said the motorcycle is usually picked up with in 96 hrs' of the acceptance of the agreement. That was on 5/03/11. After calling her Read more ....

Let me say upfront I cancelled this order with Domestic because I had an offer on my vehicle I couldn't refuse. If it had not been for that I would have gone through with the transport. Dealing with Sheila P was very refreshing to say the very least. She is up front and honest to a fault. Even when Read more ....

We used this company to ship my car from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, GA in August 2010. When the car arrived at the destination, they called me and said the amount of money due to the truck driver had changed. This last minute price switcheroo caused huge problems for me. Then, I filled out the online rebate form for $50. Read more ....

They never sent me a contract, told a prie=ce, made me file a claim against another company that was going to take my car for the agreed price and charged me 300 more than I had agreed, and i ended up being ripped off, because I needed my car.......they make promises they cannot keep Read more ....

Absolutely outstanding service. The concern went out of the way to secure timely transportation and delivery. Car was picked up within two days of my signing a contract and delivered so soon that is beyond my expectations. They followed-up to insure that the car was delivered on time due to a very short delivery window. Car was delivered in perfect Read more ....

Not knowing the business, I filled out a few applications online and received calls/emails/texts from over 15 dissimilar companies. After I filled out the form, I contacted Domestic because they had very high-quality reviews on this website. As soon as I emailed with Holly and spoke to her temporarily, I realized the mistake I made, filling out that online form. Read more ....

Domestic Auto Transport
This type of transport is also used for those who are relocating to a different state, or who are purchasing a vehicle from another area. The most common method of domestic auto transport is open-air shipping, where vehicles are secured to multi-level car carriers and transported on the open highway. This is an economical method of transport and is the most popular method used by auto transport companies.Another option is enclosed auto shipping, where the vehicle is loaded into a closed trailer and transported to its destination. This method is more expensive than open-air shipping, but provides the added protection of being enclosed while in transit. When you are considering domestic auto transport, it is important to research the various auto transport companies that are available. You should look for reviews of the companies, as well as their safety and insurance policies. It is also important to make sure that you have all of the necessary paperwork ready for the transport company, such as the vehicles title and registration.
In addition to researching the auto transport companies, you should also prepare your vehicle for transport. This includes emptying the vehicle of any loose items, making sure that the fuel tank is no more than full, and ensuring that the vehicle is in good working order. Domestic auto transport is an economical and efficient way to move a vehicle from one location to another within the same country. With the right auto transport company, you can have your vehicle shipped safely and securely to its destination.
