Review Description
I booked transport of my car through Montway and on this occasion, they functioned as a broker, handing off the actual shipment to another transporter. The way this works, the broker get a cut for the transaction and my primary grouse is that they handed of the transaction to a shoddy operation without even a BBB accreditation. The transporter was very hard to deal with and completely ignored my requests around timing the delivery of the vehicle. It took several stressful phone calls which were ultimately ignored. All this time Montway redirected me to deal with the transporter who in turn pushed me off to the driver (who was the least responsible for the whole fiasco). The vehicle was delivered dirty with some scratches

Rebuttal : We apologize for your unsatisfactory experience and we thank you for bringing your issues with Diesel Auto Express to light. Montway carefully evaluates all carriers chosen to serve our customers. At the time of assignment, Diesel Auto Express had performed over 500 transports without incident. Montway remains available to communicate to both our customer and the assigned carrier throughout the transport as well as after the transport is complete.
Damages were also reported to which we promptly provided all the information necessary to file a formal insurance claim and offered our assistance to mediate with the trucking company if necessary. Montway does its best to ease customers through the claiming process, but we cannot influence the outcome of insurance claims.
Your experience with Diesel Auto Express has been reported to their owner as well as to the National Truckers Review Board for formal record. Thank you for your feedback.
