The moved two of my Mercedes Benz from New York to Florida. They picked up the first car two weeks prior to me going to Florida. Stan advised me that I should send one ahead of time so that I will have a vehicle available when I arrive to Florida. They parked the car at my house and put the keys into my mailbox. Items missing from center console upon delivery that they refused to take responsibility for. Also, car had a dime sized chip/dent which they refused compensate for. The fine print actually says that they do not take responsibility for any damage caused less then the size of a credit card. SHADY SHADY SHADY place. If you are thinking of transporting a car with Stan. BEWARE! I have used Stan for several years without any major issue. On my recommendation my brother decided to have his Porsche transported to Florida by Stan. I was horrified to find out that when my brother received his car in Florida it had been driven 140 miles! Needless to say he was very upset that someone had put these miles on his very special toy. When he brought the issue to Stan and ask for full compensation for the transport he was denied. BAD BUSINESS! (more)
