Great Lakes Transportation of Romulus Michigan operates the silver/blue terminal to terminal shuttles and the non AOA shuttles to and fro from and between both the terminals at the Detroit Metro Airport. Tonight 12/20/2015 at approx 8:10pm I was sitting on the seats ground floor of the Macnamara terminal waiting on a bus to take me back to the North terminal. At approx 8:12pm bus number 877 arrives at the door, I get off the seat and walk toward the door, and the bus takes off. Not even a minute wait. At 8:17pm bus number 874 arrives. I explain my complaint to the lady driver, who comes back with, I am here now to take you to the North totally ignoring my complaint or attempted complaint. We get to the North shuttle area, and she promptly puts up an Out of service sign indicating she is on break. There were passengers waiting to go to the Macnamara to catch their connecting flight. The guy was pissed I would be too. He tells me, that bus number 877 showed up, did not wait on passengers and took off within less than a minute, and then this bus arrives and goes out of service. He wanted to know if there was a phone number he could call regarding shoddy service. I did not have one at present to give out. I wished him and his family the best and moved on. While heading to my vehicle parked at the employee lot yes I work here, I called airport security and was furnished with this phone number: 7349470707. I called the number, the caller id informed me the number is from Taylor MI. After ringing for 20 rings a recorded male voice informed me, there was no one to take my call. So basically a complete run around. I would not recommend this shuttle service to my worst enemy. Their customer service sucks. If you can get a ride in a car to go from terminal to terminal I would suggest you use that venue. Or have lots of time on your hands, for they seem to run on individual schedules when it suits them.  (more)
