Used DAS for last 7 cross country moves. This last time was the worst experience ever! My car has been sitting in a lot at the origin terminal in Massachusetts for over 2 weeks. I even paid more than average and still did not receive my car. My family and i will be moving to northern California next week and DAS cannot guarantee my car will be delivered before my scheduled move. They are the worst company ever. Maybe they changed management, but I have never had the experience of my car sitting at the origin terminal for more than two weeks. I get excuses about it being peak season, weather,...you name it, i have been given that excuse. The customer service people are NOT helpful. They saynthey will call you bavk but do not. They are at the mercy of the dispatch office who can only be contacted by email. Worthless communication system, and so not real time. Sad given the advanced communication technology we have today. This company should be ashamed of how they conduct business. They are completely NOT service oriented. They treat customers like they are a burden. Shame on DAS for taking your money up front and running with it....leaving your car to rot in some random lot. DO NOT use DAS to ship your car, you will surely be disappointed and be left flying out to drive your car out yourself.
