Montway meant seamless, professional handling of our daughter Mini from NorCal to Nashville! Delivery was slated at the height of a winter storm and airlines were cancelling left and right, as getting one of us to the delivery site was quite a challenge. Montway remained always responsive, with actual listening and thinking human beings who effortlessly added, then erased multiple point people at the delivery end. Ultimately her car was delivered within the estimated footprint, to our door, without a scratch! Oh, and at the drop-off end, they made sure we were cared for at an auto storage business near SFO, so we were able to leave it when we were ready and take a short Uber to timely make our planes! I read some horror stories of companies charging more when they drop your car off etc etc When you are moving you want to save as much as you can without surprise costs. Montway gave us a quote and thats what we paid. No hidden fees. Good communication. Which ever company was the one transporting my car 2500 miles, they came on the first day of the quotes time frame, and dropped it off day two of the quotes time frame. Door to door Depends on where you live, they got my far from my house but the new place was a new community which was not able to have huge trucks roaming around, my sister in law went less then a mile to pick up the car.  (more)

I booked transport of my car through Montway and on this occasion, they functioned as a broker, handing off the actual shipment to another transporter. The way this works, the broker get a cut for the transaction and my primary grouse is that they handed of the transaction to a shoddy operation without even a BBB accreditation. The transporter was very hard to deal with and completely ignored my requests around timing the delivery of the vehicle. It took several stressful phone calls which were ultimately ignored. All this time Montway redirected me to deal with the transporter who in turn pushed me off to the driver (who was the least responsible for the whole fiasco). I just wanted to let you know of a problem with Montway Auto transport. I contracted with them to move a truck for my son, from Albuquerque NM to Shaw Air Force base in SC. They sent me a note saying it would be picked up on 02-22-2012 (thus no return of deposit) However they called and said the driver canceled the pick up on 02-21-2012. They then told me it could be another 5 to 7 days before it got picked up! I told them to cancel the order and contacted another company and had it picked up the next day. Now they won't refund my deposit. The truck was ready to be picked up on the date we agreed on!  (more)
