the auto transport group - Review

We had our 2010 Toyota Yaris shipped from Puerto Rico to California. We decided to use ATG and we were glad we did. We worked with a great representative by the name of Anthony. Anthony helped us with the entire process from pickup to delivery. We did experience a slight issue. When I requested from ATG the final amount due in order to have a cashiers check ready, I was informed that it would be $900.00. When the vehicle arrived in FLA. The transport driver called me and told me that it would be another $50.00. Here is when I began to worry... I started to think that these guys were going to nickel & dime me all the way through. I immediately called Anthony of this unplanned fee.. He quickly sprung into action and took care of the fee by crediting my card. I did make the MO out for $950.00 knowing that I was credited the 50.00. Anthony was a great representative to work with and I strongly recommend ATG on any vehicle transport. Yeah, I read the last review as far as not returning calls. It also happened to me, but eventually they will reach out and not leave you in the dark.. Thanks ATG! Sincerely, Angel A.  (more)

the car was picked up and delivered in the promised amount of time. the driver and ATG stayed on top of everything from the start to the end couldnt ask for more thank you ATG!  (more)

I dealt with Danielle and Anthony and had the worst moving experience ever, they gave me the complete run around. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! My husband set up our moving companies (one for the car-Auto Transport Group and one for the house hold belongings-American Van Lines-which I recommend) before he deployed to Iraq. They lied about the date that the car was going to be picked up. They do not keep you informed about when your car will be picked up. I was told it was supposed to be picked up at our scheduled time when I called them the day before. Then I was called and told that their truck broke down but they were going to find a replacement truck to pick up my car. The morning of my scheduled time of pickup I called them (because they never call you, even when they say they will),and was still told that my car would still be picked up that afternoon. With many calls that day to Danielle and Anthony they would kept telling me that they would have a truck there. 2pm came around and NO TRUCK!!!! I used another company at the last minute to pick up my car and will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY again. To top it off they refused to reimburse us! I have moved 6 times in 5 years and dealt with many companies, will never use this one again!!!!  (more)

These guys helped me out tremendously it couldn't have gone any better was with a company for 3 weeks and could not help me. until i called Mary at the auto transport group i was just ignored they came through and got me picked up right away!  (more)

was quoted 385 for a set timeframe. I harrased them and finally Anthony said after many calls without answer that he would refund my deposit of 150 and i should pay the driver 400. I agreed and finally the car came it has since been months and i have managed to talk to him once( mainly because i left messages for him at all extensions 101-107 if your interested in doing the same. Today I have had to resort to doing this again as the only call I got was when i called andDJ called me back thinking i stil had my cr to ship. I then called dj back the next day and was put on hold for 15 minutes and then disconected. so my plan is to call their tool free number every day all extensions until I get my money. and cost them 20 times the business through lost business. It is embarassing that a paid up customer has to go through this to get a refund and even to talk to Anthony who is one of the owners. Dont let him play you by trying to get things approved and his hands are tied because he is an owner and is playing you. I see they read this forum and I hope many other future users read this as well. I will be leaving a daily review her with updates until i get my refund  (more)

After over 3 weeks, I finally received my car. From the very beginning, when the trucking company loaded my car I knew I may have made a mistake hiring this company. The driver first parked the truck in a rocky field which my car had to be driven through (there was plenty of room on pavement to set up), he did not put the pins in the ramp, which fell apart when the car's front wheels came over the first break. Luckily it did not hook the bumper. The driver argued with us when we were worried that the low clearance of the car may hit the wheel wells of the truck bed (mini cooper), then finally decided to put blocks under to help, which it barely cleared (millimeters) with the blocks. They "say" they tied it down properly by the wheels and not the chassy, which may cause suspension damage that I will not find until later. After their truck broke down (2 times), and was thought to be fixed twice, I called Auto Transport Group to find another driver. I called on a Monday and Preet did not get back to me all week. I waited and called youthe following Monday and you had still not found someone. My car sat in a yard somewhere in New Mexico for almost 3 weeks! I had to do all the follow up calling. Now that I do have my vehicle, I have received no follow up call or emails from you to check to see if the car did arrive and if I was satisfied. Your business is a customer service business since you find the truckers. I understand that trucks may break down, or there may be unforseen problems from time to time, but your company's name is on the line because I hired you, which means you should do whatever it takes to make things right with the customer, even if you already received your money. I wrote to Auto Transport Group for some kind of compensation and to make this right. They never responded so now I am writing this review. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! For those looking for car transport, make sure you hire a company that has their own trucks, that way they  (more)

I wanted to move my car from California to North Carolina, I got quote from 20 different companies, but I decided to go with the auto transport group after seeing their reviews. Everything went as planned my car was picked on time and delivered on time than expected date. This company was completely professional from the minute I asked for my on-line quote until following through after my car was delivered.I would definitely use this company in future transport needs and recommend this company to my family and friends.  (more)

This was definitely a positive experience. There was a Great communication from start to end. Vehicle was picked up on time and was delivered sooner then expected.
