Orange Auto Transport - Review

I had never used a transport service before, and the thought of me towing my daughters car on the back of a u-haul while moving her back to the bay area, frankly sent my blood pressure through the roof. A friend told me about Orange Auto Transportation, and I am so thankful. I was able to leave the car at the hotel, the key with the desk clerk, and the driver te Ted me to confirm pick up. Delivery was the next day....less than 24 hours. Orange Auto Transportation is the best.  (more)

Working with this business was OK. They offered competitive rates and it was easy to schedule the pickup (NY to LA), but the vehicle did not arrive on the day that they said it was going to (which I had to take off work for), which I would not have minded had the shipping company they contracted with had made an effort to contact me and tell me it was going to be a day late (orange auto transport is not the actual shipping company, fyi). When I left a voicemail with OAS (this occurred during a weekend) they were very quick to have the on-call dispatcher guy call me, which I appreciated, but he did not really have the details, and he could not directly get in touch with the driver of the truck. All in all, I got my car a day late which is not the end of the world, I just wish there had been more communication between OAS, the shipping company, and myself.  (more)
