Subject : good of service

I hired another transport company to take my car from CA to CO, 3-4 weeks prior to my move. When I called to confirm 2 days prior, they had no driver. I called Transauto Transport and in a few hours, Alan called and said he had a driver about 2 hours from me, with one spot left. Alan worked very hard to get my car transported. I m so grateful for him and he was so pleasant to work with. I would, definitely, recommend Transauto Transport to anyone. I think a lot of people only leave reviews when something doesnot go right so, I am leaving this one to let people know, it couldnot have gone any better. Thanks, again, Alan!!!!!  (more)

Subject : disappointment with the services

Staff is nice, but to be honest I was never clarified of the dates. I was contacted by one of the guys and he knew the date I needed the car to be picked up and said earliest they had pick it up was day after that, which was cool. Sent me 2 contracts with no pick up date, when I called to see if the driver would pick up that car day I expected, dispatcher told me it was scheduled for a week later. If I was not in a rush I would of been fine with that no buggy but they changed the date on me with out telling me and then the management called me Allan to tell me they listened to my call and said dates of pick up were told to me but really they were not. If I could post a picture of both contracts I would and show that the date was not on it. I am now waiting on half of my deposit. We will see how long that will take.  (more)

Subject : horrible experience

Terrible customer service. We scheduled an auto pick up one month before we needed it and they called us 3 days before our move and said their truck was in the shop. They offered us a bunch of excuses and said they would have a truck ready for us. On the day we had to move they still had no truck ready. They kept our deposit and have not returned several e mails and phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS CRAPPY COMPANY. They are theives.  (more)

Subject : Stolen Deposit

On March 12th 2014 I contracted with Transauto Transport to have an auto delivered from NC to SD, I paid the deposit with my debit card with the remainder to be paid upon delivery. The auto was to be picked up on March 18th or 19th and delivered between March 24th-27th. After 3 scheduled pickups were missed with no show, no call or cancellations and many phone calls to the owner Allan R., who asked for more time twice, i asked for a refund on April 14th. The employee said he would send a memo to accounting, never received the refund. After several calls and voice mails to Allan, on April 19th he called and said i would be receiving an email receipt and refund within a few days. As of June 8th i still have not received an email receipt or refund! No calls or communication either.  (more)

Subject : Stole my car!

Original quote was for $650 and I signed a contract for an expedited pickup for $750. After two weeks, the 10 day contract period expired as they couldn't find a driver at that rate. Understandable, but I email and phone constantly to get my deposit of $175 back and get no response. I sign with another company and put a deposit down with them (Nation's Auto). Meanwhile, I get a Trans Auto mid manager on phone (Hesus) who simply refuses to listen to me tell him to send my deposit back and he insists he has a truck in area. I emphatically state 'no', 'give my money back' as I have signed with another company and don't 'trust' Trans Auto. That spites him, I guess, because he sends his truck anyway (!) and my seller loads my car up, thinking this is the company I've switched to (Nations Auto), but it's *not*, it's Trans Auto. Holy hell! Trans Auto has now effectively hi-jacked my car and then jacks my COD to $750! I'm being held hostage to the tune of near $1,000 from these gangsters. I am fortunately able to contac the driver as his company contact is on the pick-up form but Trans Auto completely ignores me. After I communicate to the driver's company what is going on, they decide to take my car back to Michigan after a couple of days pass, to the original pick up point. Transportreviews.com wouldn't post my review because Trans Auto keeps telling them I am not a customer! Classic. I never have gotten my deposit back and am fighting credit card battle over that. I also had to cancel my credit card number because I know they would have jacked me for the entire amount with no service provided. I eventually got to speak to a high level exec named Trudy but she allowed Hesus, the one responsible, to continue this criminal sham. Nations Auto was fantastic by the way, and returned my deposit. Contact Mike Koberstein at Nations Auto. He's great. Matchpoint Auto was the driver company who picked up the car but they were totally innocent. Matchpoint was also very good about communicating the location of my car. Dealing with Trans Auto has been a disaster and I truly cannot understand how they have not angered someone yet to the point of a multitude of customers and lawyers hunting them down and physically beating them to zombie-pulp for lying over and over and over and over and over. The games they play once you fall in their trap will take you to the limit and the insane non-logic they use will drive you batty, while they ignore their own promises, ignore their own policies and contracts and take your hard earned money for no service provided. Eventually, I chose to fly up and.. no, not beat them to zombie-pulp,.. but to get my new-used car myself. May the Lord be witness to my truth that these people are the worst of humanity. Lord God Yaweh repay these vomit for stealing my kids lunch money, and Hesus, you little snivling snit, the fires of hell are stoked for men like you. Trudy (self pronounced 'high level east coast exec'), you are a coward, no matter what year your BMW is, and Mr. Bullard (my salesman) you work for a very bad company - you're above this, so why don't you quit that mob before they put you in real harm's way. Nuff Said, not.  (more)

Subject : Delivered

This company was really helpful and fair. I was going between different companies trying to see which one could get my car picked up and moved. When I talk to name I was upset because another company had let 5 days go by without assigning a driver and they helped me understand the difference between brokers and carriers and how being a carrier company made it easier for them to get my vehicle assigned. So I give these guys 5 stars for being honest and making the process smooth from a difficult location.  (more)

Subject : Good and Flexible

This is my way of appreciating the outstanding service they provided to us recently. My husband and I were in a stressful situation trying to move everything including one of our vehicles purchased in Detroit to ft. Lauderdale. The good thing about the guys at TransAuto Transport is the flexibility they gave us during the whole process. Our primary contact was either available or returned our messages promptly and was up front in resolving our doubts and scheduling concerns. The service we received was excellent and professional throughout the whole process. Not a single complaint, just pleased with everything.  (more)

Subject : Non-Professional

I do not recommend this company to anyone. I called this company hoping to get my car shipped of to my wife so she can use it while I deployed with the Army. Little did I know how frustrating it would be to do it with this company. First, I called the Florida office and I got connected with a guy named Jesus. I reserved a spot on a truck for the 25th and I had to pay a $125 deposit fee. Two days before, it's the 23rd of October, I get a call from Jesus asking if it was alright if the car could be picked up a day early, on the 24th, I replied "No" but I also suggested that it could be picked up the day after (26th) if that would help you guys. He said he would call the driver and get back with me with a solution. I didn't get a call back that day... It's the 24th and I get a call from a truck driver asking if my vehicle was ready for the pick up. I replied "No, I agreed on the vehicle being picked up on the 25th or the 26th. He said he was going to call his dispatcher and get back with me with more information. I waited 5 - 6 hours and called the driver back asking whats going on? he told me that he couldn't wait any longer so he replaced my spot on a truck with another car, there is nothing else he can do and call his dispatcher. I asked why is my spot being replaced a day early? he couldn't give me any answer. I tried calling Jesus back, it seemed like he turned his phone off. I couldn't get in contact with him until 1:00pm the next day, which is also pick up day. He told me that he doesn't know whats going on and my car is still been scheduled to be picked up on the 25th, if not the 26th. He also told me he was going to call the driver with some information and get back to me. He again didn't return my phone call. The 26th came around and I still haven't heard from Jesus. So i started calling other offices and got a hold of Jessie in the New York office. I explained to him whats going on and he said he was going to call a driver and see if they can come pick it up now. 3 hours went by I called him back and he said he was calling three other driver companies to see if they can pick up my car. Another 3 hours had passed so I called him back asking if their had been an update in the information. he said no but he is going to call me in a hour and a half, right before he leaves the office, and tell me exactly how the driver is going to come pick it up. Asked him if he could give me a number I can call after you leave the office just in case I have more question. HE refused to give me any other number asking me what kinda question would I have to call anyone else. I asked who was in charge of the office he said he was. I asked if their was somebody above him I can talk to and he said their is nobody after hours I could talk to above him. I asked when you guys open up again who can I talk to who is above you he said he is the one in charge. I asked if he was the owner and founder of the company he replied no. After that i said if my car isn't picked up today I want my money back. He asked me who else are you going to go to? Does this mean your going to find somebody to pick up your car on Sunday or Monday? He wouldn't talk about the process of getting my money back. He said you have already wasted 30 mins that I could be talking to the driver. I will call you back when I have more information.I have no got a call back from him. Now it's the day before I deploy and I worrying how I'm going to get my car to my wife. Somebody in the whole company picks up the phone every 20 times I call. seems like no one really cares who they treat the customers. I do not recommend this company to anyone and I'm out of $125. I do plan on legal action being done.  (more)

Subject : HORRIBLE. READ THIS BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY

On August, 2013 I bought a car off ebay. I needed it shipped from PA to MT, so I first went on a wellknown website that people go on an bid for the shipment (I don't know if I am allowed to mention it here, so I won't). For the first couple weeks there were no bids on my shipment so I decided to go to other websites where you receive shipping quotes from multiple businesses. On August 29, I received a quote from Frank Ga of Transauto Transport. The subject of the email was "WE HAVE TRUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRANSAUTO TRANSPORT QUOTE FROM FRANK". The subject looked as though they were carriers as well as brokers, so wanting to deal directly with a broker, so on September 2, I called Frank Ga. Frank assured me they have trucks and one is in the general area of my car and it could be picked up soon. I told Frank to send me a contract so we could get this shipment going. Frank immediately emailed me a contract, but it was someone else's contract with THEIR car info, address, telephone number, and last 4 digits of their credit card (I did call that person and warn them that this happened) Sure, this was a sloppy mistake and should not have happened (who would want all their info emailed to a stranger?), but I emailed Frank and told him what heppened. Frank immediately emailed me my contract, but it was for a first available pick-up date as September 16 instead of ASAP, and the pick-up/drop off points were the same address. I got annoyed by the sloppiness and decided I no longer wanted the services. I IMMEDIATELY emailed the following to Frank: " Frank, I do not wish to proceed with this. Please do not charge my credit card for the deposit. I find that there is a lot of lack of organization, and mis-information. I have no reason to believe the car will be picked up in this time-frame." Frank then replied: "Dennis, I´m sorry the release form you received earlier was incorrect. Our assistant made an error, he is being reprimanded for this. You have nothing to worry about, I made the adjustments myself this time, the reason why it’s on central dispatch is because by law we have to put it up there so other companies will stop calling you and it also prevents a conflict. Any question or concerns, please email me or call me, thanks. 404-855-3181 Frank G." I then emailed back: "Please take me off central dispatch. I didn't sign the contract so by law you aren't allowed to add me until there is actually a contract." This was the end of that part of my communication with Frank. Keep in mind I did NOT sign the contract that he sent me, and the emails clearly stated that I do NOT want his business and wanted to proceed no further. Anyway, on Friday September 6, I signed a contract with a trucker to ship my vehicle (from the website I mentioned at the beginning). I gave an almost $200 deposit to the trucker and he was going to pick my vehicle up on Monday, September 9. On Sunday September 8 I got an angry call from the trucker, saying he called the vehicle seller and the vehicle has already been picked up by a truck driver. I was super worried, and immediately went home and opened a stolen vehicle complaint on ebay. I called the vehicle seller and he informed me the vehicle has been picked up by a trucker on Friday Semptember 6 and he gave me the cell-phone number of the trucker. I called the trucker and left a voice-mail, asking why he had taken my car two days ago without my consent. The truck driver called back and informed me that they had picked up my car because I had signed a contract with Transauto transport. I informed them I had NOT signed the contract and he unlawfully added me onto the central dispatch website (despite my telling him not to because I didn't want his services!), and told them I had signed a contract (which I had not). I won't tell the trucking company because they went on good faith that I had signed a contract, and they picked up my vehicle. They didn't expect Frank to be so dishonest and unlawful. So upon further discussion with the trucker, I agreed to the $1400 that they had been told on central dispatch that they would be given in order to ship my vehicle. We were all shocked that Frank/Trans-Auto transport would stoop to such dishonesty and stupidity. After speaking with the trucker, I emailed Frank the following: "Frank, I am following up about my order. I had agreed with a shipping company on uship to have my car shipped. The trucker called the seller today and was informed that the car had already been picked up. I called the seller and he gave me some phone numbers to King's auto. They said they had a contract from me with you guys. I was wondering how you had a contract when I specifically stated that I do not want the car shipped from you and do not add me to central dispatch (I have all the emails confirming this). I was wondering if you fraudulently made the contract agreed to by me, or what. I am now out the $200 with the trucking company I agreed to, so I will be contacting my credit card to get reimbursed for this and I will state that you are responsible. I did not agree to this and this is extremely deceitful and bad business. Please tell me how you want to go about this and what you want to do." I DID NOT get an email response from Frank, so I gave him a call. Frank advised me that he remembered I didn't want him to ship my vehicle, and he would look into what happened and I am to call him back in 2 hours. I called Frank 2 hours later and Frank stated that "I got your vehicle shipped, so we should get the contract signed so your car can be delivered on time" (Frank was wanting me to sign the contract for $1550 so he would get his $150 commission!!) I said to Frank "Do you understand what happened here" Frank informed me that he knew I declined his services because of him sending me someone else's contract (which he said it had never happened before). I said no because he sent me someone else's personal information and messed up some other information. Frank informed me that he did what I had wanted, and that was to get my car shipped. I said no I clearly said I don't want his services. Frank started calling me rude and impatient (am I suppose to be happy when a broker goes behind my back and ships my vehicle without my consent?) Frank then said he had added me to central dispatch right when we spoke on the phone, and the shipment was already booked to be picked up (this was another lie, and Frank can't lawfully add me to central dispatch and tell people you have a contract when you actually don't) I told Frank there is no way I am signing the contract, and I will be making reviews to inform future customers of what happened. Frank then told me since his service was free, I cannot leave feedback. I told him his deceit got my car shipped without my consent and I am out my deposit from the trucker that I had originally signed with. Frank informed me that we are getting nowhere talking on the phone so we will part ways. (This was the end of the phone call with Frank) From then on I communicated with the trucker, and it was delivered on Tuesday September 10. So long story short: Frank lied (to myself and the trucker), said I had signed a contract (which I hadn't. I did give Frank my CC number so he could add it to the contract that I was originally suppose to sign) and added me to central dispatch without a contract (unlawful), shipped my car without my consent and expected to get paid (what?!?!?!??! Seriously who does that!). Stay away from Frank and this shadey business unless you want disorganization, lies and deceit. I will be forwarding this review along to Frank. I am sure he will come up with some generic excuse (but will not touch on fine details of my review). Please feel free to email me with any further questions that you may have. Your personal information is not safe with him. If this website lets me I would be willing to follow up once he comments. BEWARE!  (more)

Subject : Company will Scam You!

Buyers beware! I hired TransAuto Transporters early March to ship my 2011 Town Car from NY to TX. This is bought for business so there was an urgency. I orginally spoke with Dino (an agent) and I informed him of my situation and we come to a price of $850 total with a $100 deposit (or brokers fee). Dino promised me the car would be picked up Sunday or Monday. I live in Texas so I can't physically check if the car is still on the lot or not. On Tuesday, I called the dealership and they said no one was called or picked up the car. Furious, I called Dino: no luck. Strait to voice mail all day. And they already charged my card the $100. Next day I called the main 1-800 line. Spoke with a manager, Allen, he apologized for the hassle and completely assured me my car would be picked up the following day at the latest. Of course, nothing happened. I tried calling Allen back and now his phone is going strait to voice mail for days. In the end, I went with another carrier and they were awesome. Do not trust this company or give them your credit card number! They will scam you. I'm glad I used a credit card and disputed the charge.  (more)

Subject : Scammers! Do not use!

I was reserved a truck to transport my vehicles, 3 weeks in advance. I remained in contact through email and phone and was told everything was good to go. On the day of my pickup, when I had to call them and ask where is the truck, they told me they had no truck to pick up my vehicles. I already had a plane leaving the area and was forced to cancel my flight and had to put my family in a hotel until I can have my vehicles picked up or place them in a storage. I had to put my vehicles in storage and leave town. I do not know when my vehicles will get transpoted. The company has taken my money and will not answer my calls. Please stay away from this company. I will go after these guys legally. If anyone need any more info about my experience please feel free to contact me. One peice of advice, do not give a broker a deposit until your car is on a trailer. Now I am forced to find a truck while I am out of town and my vehicles are in storage. I have been thing about buying my own transport truck and just being honest and direct to the customer. Please avoid Trans Auto transport.  (more)
