These guys must have turned it around . Had great communication the whole way through. Pickup was towards the end of the day but the driver was texting me with updates the whole time which made it easy. Someone from their office followed up as well. Drop off was also timely and driver communicated with my contact who was picking it up. No issues through the process.  (more)

Worst car transport experience ever. (and have shipped cars in and out of Alaska more than a few time). My car still hasn't even been put on ground transport out of Tacoma, and is already 10 days overdue. Communication by the company? Zip. (unless they're getting money). I made 95% of the phone calls to them to try and find out what was going on. They rarely ever called me back, even when they said "we'll look into that, someone will call you right back". Never happened. While still in Anchorage, prior to being taken to the port, they had no clue where the car even was, even though they had contracted for it to be picked up. They picked it up on a Thursday, and then (when I'd call to find out details) they'd say, "well you dropped it off Friday". And I'd say "I didn't do anything, your company picked it up". They confused that several different times and they missed the first sailing. Then had several different (often conflicting) stories as to why it missed the first sailing. The first, and only thing "they" did right, was pick it up on time. Since then, it's been all over the map, and very poor service. I hope my car will arrive at some point, but I've pretty much given up hope at this point. Don't use these people, they're the worst of the worst.  (more)

I was in a very stressful situation and Road runner Transport was wonderful. They arranged pickup on the day they promised. I had to leave the area and fly back to California. Everything was handled with professionalism, courtesy and honesty. The driver was great; I was kept abreast of the time frame for delivery. The car arrived in great condition and on time. Auto transport can occasionally be a tricky business and it is inevitable that a company will run into a problem at some point. Using Roadrunner minimizes this risk to practically zero, and I will definitely keep using them. Sandi and Phil are awesome and they provide excellent commuication. I have shipped cars several times without any issues, and I believe that Roadrunner has a successful formula. I required enclosed transport this time, the driver was top notch, and he ran the car clear across the country in one shot. If you happen to originate your move from the pacific northwest the way I did, you could try asking for Ivan's availability (Ivan was the driver but the other drivers are good as well). Roadrunner's process is peace of mind for owners of collector automobiles such as myself. Also - note the cost! $1275 for enclosed transport coast to coast. No one beats that price.
