I lucked out. Many people discourage brokers but I got set up with a wonderful carrier/driver. English was not his first language but he was communicative, very polite and delivered my car flawlessly. Wish I had gotten his name. A very good shout out to my broker, Kent. My specific situation was a bit difficult because of the dealer strange rules but he kept in contact, explained how the transport works and was generally very nice and focused on getting my car to me. Ronnie Wyre was a down to earth, straight shooter that clearly knows the business. He laid it all out, what to expect and what to be warry of; then let me decide. From the moment I pulled the trigger with Mercury, Ronnie was on point! Daily updates via email and text kept me confident that he was working my order. My final shipping contract was $65 more than originally anticipated, but understanding how the business works, I expected this might happen (again, Ronnie made sure I was aware of the possibility). In the end, I got a ride for my ride, about 1 week after first available pickup date; however, it arrived about 3 days earlier than scheduled! Nice to have Ol Blue back with us. Thanks!! Would have appreciated a little more communication en route to confirm arrival/progress, and the "pay in cash" structure is a little bit of a pain (though it being at delivery provides additional security). My son hit some black ice and rolled his truck while traveling from Utah to Rhode Island for US Navy training. He could not stick around to get it fixed so had to leave it. My Daughter-in-Law quoted another company who low balled the quote and could not deliver. So as the truck sat at a less than honest shop for $30 per day to just sit there, the storage fee was racking up. I called Roman who I have worked with before. He was on it immediately and got everything scheduled and the truck was delivered in three days from Michigan to Arizona. He even called me while he was on a fishing trip to let me know he had scheduled with the driver. Definitely will use Mercury Transport again.  (more)

J.C. Bonitto and Claudia Gavillano lied to me and then refused to help when one of their drivers took my car for a joy ride and damaged it. This incident happened almost a month ago, and I waited this long to post a review because I like JC and Claudia. They are very friendly and pleasant to talk to, but after thinking a lot about what happened, I can only conclude that they were dishonest. Details follow. JC called me and said that he had found a driver (Moises Rivera, of Unlimited Auto Transport, LLC) that could take my car, and since I was having trouble moving it, I signed with JC. A few minutes after Moises dropped the car off, I figured out that Moises had altered the Bill of Laden to hide the fact that he had damaged the car--he altered the original Bill of Laden to indicate that the damage I saw on arrival was already there. After more digging, I realized that he had driven my car 80 miles, and in the process had damaged the right rear fender, the driver's side door, and the interior. I called JC to explain the situation. Initially, he supported Moises, saying that sellers often lie about the condition of the vehicles they're selling. But, once I told him that I had documented evidence that Moises had altered the Bills of Laden, JC told me that I had a claim and gave me Claudia's number, who is their customer service person. I never heard from JC again, despite several emails. When things got ugly, he walked away. Claudia, like Moises, was very friendly. But almost everything she told me was untrue. First, she sent me information about the wrong company, then she reassured me that I could contact the driver's insurance company myself, despite what I had read in another review. Eventually, I contacted Moises's insurance company (Northland Insurance), and after several phone conversations was told by the agent that I had no claim. Because the damage had occurred while the car was off the carrier, the insurance company was not liable. Later, Northland Insurance sent me a letter wherein they wrote in boldface that they did not accept third party claims- contrary to what Claudia had told me. This exact scenario had already been reported in a review of this company; the details of the event were identical down to the name of the driver and the fact that Northland Insurance refused to accept a third party claim. I trusted JC and Claudia and they let me down. Please don't use Mercury Auto Transport because if something goes wrong, you're on your own.  (more)

I contacted Mercury Auto Transport to arrange the transportation of 8 company vehicles from Oregon to California. The vehicles were 2 Chevy Maibus, 3 Dodge Nitros and 3 Chevy Express 2500 Cargo vans. Charlie Steeves Was very informative,and was a excellent broker.If you are not familiar with the Chevy 2500, it is a very large delivery van that is not easy to transport on carriers. The auto transporter that was used by Mercury was "All About Auto Transport". Not only was the pickup of the vehicles on time but the delivery was also. Jim (the owner) contacted me to make sure I would be available to receive the delivery and said he would be arriving in 30 minutes. Exactly 30 minutes later he pulled up. Not only was I impressed with his timeliness, but when I saw the carrier he used to transport 5 of my vehicles, I was very impressed. I was expecting all the vehicles to be delivered on open carriers. The Nitros and the Malibus arrived on a closed transport carrier. It was spectacular and made more than one car slow down and stare at it. It felt as if I was having a Mercedes or Mazeratti being delivered. The care and obvious sincerity that Jim exhibited was more than one can explain. Rarely do you ever see this kind of Customer Service and personality rolled into just one person. As he carefully removed each vehicle and parked it, he explained about the carrier and informed me his son would be arriving about the same time that he was finishing. 5 minutes prior to Jim being done, his son drove up in the other carrier (this one was an open tow carrier because of the size of the Express Vans). His son had the same kindness and customer service and I was just as impressed with him. The total time it took from arrival to their departure and the delivery of 8 vehicles neatly parked away was less than 90 minutes. EXCELLENT...EXCELLENT...EXCELLENT. That's the best way to describe this experience with All About Auto Transport and Mercury Auto Transport. Would I use them again? You bet!  (more)

At some point I spoke with Alan at Mercury Auto Transport and he really took the time with me on the phone to explain the whole process from beginning to end on how this industry works.
