Subject : Great Auto Transport

Great experience transporting my car! I would recommend protected auto carriers to anyone transporting a car. I simply called their number 561-251-8980 and they were able to transport my car from and to any city in the country at the lowest price! I trust protected auto carriers to ship my dads bicycle or my moms mini van  (more)

Subject : TOOK MY DEPOSIT AND NEVER TRANSPORTED MY VEHICLE

On August 13th I ordered a vehicle to be transported to Jackson MS by Sean Kirtz of Protected Auto Carriers. I was told that my vehicle would be delivered on either Friday or Saturday. He said these dates specifically because I told him I would be arriving on Saturday and was told well other arrangements needed to be made just in case he arrived on Friday so I set it up with my Aunt to pay the remaining $650 owed to the driver. The total of the shipment was $800. On the 13th I was told to pay a deposit on $150. On Tuesday I called to ensure the vehicle was picked up and Christina told me that the hydraulic system on the truck was down and that it would be pick up and delivered on time. I called on the 15th and was told they still didn't have a carrier to transport my vehicle. I then found out that I could have the vehicle shipped to my home. I was told that this would be a easier transport. I followed up later that day and nothing changed still no carrier. On Thursday the 16th I called again and Christina told me they still didn't have a carrier. At this time I found that they raised my amount owed by $50. I then asked Christina will it be delivered by the weekend and I was told most likely not. I then asked if I could get a refund and find another method of transport. First Christina said yes since they were not able to transport my vehicle by the date needed and then when I found a different method I found that the story changed to it might be difficult and that someone would contact me within 48hrs which nobody has. I was called on Friday the 17th by Christina and was told they had a driver that could pick my vehicle up on Monday (which was after the date needed) and i would have to pay an additional $100 beyond the increased $50 they snuck in. I have tried to get my $150 deposit back since they were not able to provide me my service. They will not give it back even though it is Protected Auto Carriers fault the transport didn't happen. I don't have $150.00 to throw away. Protected Auto Carriers SUCKS AND THAT IS WHY THEY HAVE A F RATINGS ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.  (more)

Subject : DECEPTIVE PRACTICE / FRAUD

I normally do not take the time to write reviews, however I do hope this will stop what happened to me from happening to others. I signed a contract with Protected Auto Carriers based on their advertisement of honesty, professionalism and the fact that they were a bonded and insured company. My car was delivered to me missing a mobile GPS device and the quote that I was quoted was not honered. I ended up paying an additional $150.00 over the cost of the quote. The driver would not deliver my car to me without my paying the $150.00 over the amount that I was orginally supposed to give to him. I have called the company several times and each time I was promised that a refund would be credited to my credit card. That was over 2 weeks ago. Now the company does not answer my calls or return calls. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTERVIEW SERIOUSLY if you are looking to the problems that I encountered.  (more)
