Would not pay for damage they caused .....had two cars shipped from Fla to Ohio...firstly, the driver was EIGHT hours late....called from Miami Fla and headed to Ft Lauderdale (40 minutes) but showed up 8 hours later with no explanation....when car was delivered to OHIO the Mercedes was damaged.....driver gave me receipt w/o noting the damage...I said NO WAY....put damage on receipt and we both signed for the delivery.....contacted the Car Haulers (Russell Ridner) 606 376 2118.....was very reluctant to return my phone calls/emails...finally told me to get 3 bids....thus I did....after that was not returning my calls/emails...I talked to my insurance agent and he found out who Russell Ridners insurance agent was...Russells insurance agent got involed (even though $950 damage and Russell has $1,000 deductible)...his insurance agent talked to Russell and led him to believe he would pay the bill....but, I had to have papers sent to me to be notarized, etc...did this ALSO, after getting 3 bids....had the car repaired with the lowest bidder and then contacted Russells agent....his insurance agent emailed me and said he left messages, emails, etc and would not return his calls/emails.....to this date I have not recd my repair bill monies....my next step is legal action....unfortunately that I have to go thru this but hate when consumers get screwed....  (more)
