what a cluster f****! terrible company to work for. here is what happened: 1) i was moving with flight arrangements already made. the day before flying out of town to move, no word from the transport company. for many hours, i was calling the transport people. all magic carpet transport people could tell me was to wait. then later on, they told me that they were not responsible for somebody to pick up my car. that put us in a bind since we couldn't leave the car with anyone and we were flying out in a few hours. finally I (not magic carpet trnsport people) got a hold of the transport people and they picked up the car. 2) of course the next day magic transport was calling me every few minutes to confirm that somebody picked up the car so they could charge their fee. i didn't answer for a couple of days. 3) the car was delivered. i requested that i was on the lower rack but the car was on the upper rack. 4) the car was hit from the front all the way down the side, on top, and the rear bumper. there were dents on the passenger door pillar. i had to pay the crooks to get my car but started the process of issuing a claim. 5) i called magic carpet transport about the claim and they didn't lift a finger to help me. all the gave me was a email with their insurance company # on it. when i booked this transport, magic carpet told me they used people that had insurance. 6) it turns out the transport company didn't have insurance so they wouldn't pay. magic carpet transport was notified and didn't do anything but stopped answering my calls. 7) the bid to fix all the repairs was $3000. i have a lawyer involved. i'll end up suing both magic carpet and the transport company. all they will do is change their name or work out of a different office. i would be happy to talk to anybody about my experience with these crooks.
